Sidus Space, Inc. Appoints Jamie Adams as Chief Technology Officer

Sidus Space, Inc. announced on Tuesday its appointment of Jamie Adams as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  With over three decades of program and project management in the aerospace industry, Mr. Adams will lead and direct the technology and R&D activities for Sidus Space.  Mr. Adams will drive innovation and deliver products, technology, and solutions to meet customer needs. In addition, under the leadership of Mr. Adams, the Sidus team will strengthen our impact on commercial space programs and activities, expand our industry partnerships, and foster new opportunities to expand our capabilities.

Mr. Adams, a native of Franklin, OH, is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, OH, with a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He is published on the use and application of distributed simulation for verification and validation of complex hardware and software systems.  Mr. Adams is a member of the Kansas State University Advisory Board for the AI/ML advanced degree program.

Mr. Adams previous experience includes leading Autonomous Systems activities in Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) for Lockheed Martin (LMCO) where he focused on the strategic research, development, and support of LM Business Areas and MFC Lines of Business programs by developing autonomous systems technology for multiple domains including air, land, sea, and space. Before his career at LMCO, Adam’s served as the Associate Division Chief of NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Software, Robotics, and Simulation, Engineering Division. He was responsible for overseeing the technical execution of many contracts supporting various human resources space flight programs.

In addition, Mr. Adams was responsible for NASA’s Human Robotic Interface Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program and several initiatives with NASA Headquarters and the DoD to standardize acquisition and execution of software and simulation production and application to government contracts. Mr. Adams also served as the Deputy Chief of the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) Orion, Avionics and Software group overseeing all aspects of the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company contract activities for the group. After his 21-year career with The Boeing Company, he transitioned to NASA as the Chief of the Constellation Program Software and Simulation group.
